Venetian glass vase, made in Murano, Italy. Many Murano factories made vases in this style, including Mandruzzato, Bucella Cristalli, Campanella, Oball, and V. Nason. This piece features a stunning combination of amber glass cased in a band of paler amber glass, which is further encased in an angular block of clear glass, using the renowned Venetian sommerso technique.
Due to the nature of creating art glass, pieces may exhibit inclusions or imperfections in their form. Pieces may also include minor fleabites, light marks or light scratches to the surface of the glass which are impossible to highlight in the photography.
