Kosta LH 1519 Citrine Decanter by Vicke Lindstrand, Sweden, c. 1950s–60s

Designed by Vicke Lindstrand for Kosta Glasbruk, this LH 1519 decanter is a bold example of mid-century Swedish glass. The body is blown in a vibrant golden yellow, often referred to as citrine — a rare colourway for this model — with a softly squared form and its original oversized red ball stopper. The contrast is striking but still refined, typical of Lindstrand’s confident, sculptural style.

Still retains the original Kosta crown label near the base. The factory used this label up until the late 1960s.

A statement piece for collectors of Scandinavian glass or anyone looking to add a touch of modernist colour to a bar or sideboard.
