Vintage Duha 28cm Vase by Vladimir Mika for Mstisov, c. 1960s
A tall and beautifully sculpted example from the Duha range, designed by Vladimir Mika in the 1960s. Standing at 28cm, this Czech art glass vase features the signature horizontal bands of colour — deep cobalt blue rising into amber, finishing in soft green — all cased in thick clear crystal.
The form is fluid and confident, with a soft teardrop base that rises into a pinched, flared mouth. A bold yet refined statement from one of Mstisov’s most distinctive lines, produced just before the transition to Moser.
A wonderful piece of mid-century design and a striking collector’s item in superb proportions.
